Website Overview
Buty Salon is a well known chain of Beauty Salons based in Hammersmith and Fulham. They offer a wide range of products and services based on some of the world’s largest Beauty Therapy brands such as Decleor and Jeunesse.
Challenges
Initially, butysalon.co.uk was a really small content managed .com website.
Their page layout and structure was not SEO friendly and their site
had not been indexed which resulted in no Google rank and not being
found on search engines for any keywords at all. Buty Salon was also
spending a fair amount of money advertising their website via Yell.com
with fairly low returns.
Solution
We started out by designing a completely new optimised website. Focusing
on the page layout and overall site structure. Our goal was to design
a well optimised site but still maintain the look and feel of the old
site which is what their existing clients were used to. We then did
extensive keyword research to identify what their target market was
actually searching on; this enabled us to write keyword rich copy for
the site.
Armed with our keywords we were able to build an extensive website with over 147 pages. We submitted the website and sitemap to search engines and started an extensive link building campaign that started with creating inbound links from Knowall’s existing websites.
Our efforts have resulted in www.butysalon.co.uk achieving page one results for their selected keywords and an increase in traffic as well as daily website enquiries.
